The integration of people with disabilities is a subject we are still learning about, but every day we take another step in the right direction. We do this with the help of external partners, our Different Abilities working group and our colleagues with disabilities.
Raising awareness
People with disabilities can face a number of barriers to fair participation in the job market. This is why we consider it important to tackle this subject without taboos through in-house information sessions. On the one hand, to demystify and eliminate the prejudices associated with disability, and on the other to raise awareness among our colleagues of the barriers that people with disabilities face in the workplace on a daily basis.
Anysurfer label
Since December 2022, we have held the Anysurfer label, certifying the accessibility of our website.
A giant mural for the inclusion of people with disabilities
On the outskirts of Namur station, Infrabel has made the access wall to its neighbouring building available to the Créahm non-profit organisation, which promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities through artistic workshops. With the help of Pso Man, a street artist from Liège, the Créahm artists painted a monumental fresco on the wall measuring 50 metres long and 3 metres high.
