This weekend, line 34, the strategic line between Hasselt – Tongres, has recently undergone major renovation. The renovation works were carried out over a period of 72 hours, without any interruption on this 25km line.
Friday 2 June 2017 is The International Level Crossing Awareness Day. Within this context, Infrabel and the SNCF Réseau launched an awareness campaign at a level crossing in Roubaix. Infrabel took this opportunity to display its wreck, as featured in the awareness campaign "Wreck on tour".
Saturday 3 March, in the morning, Infrabel installed the largest element of the new metal bridge spanning the Leuven Canal at Mechelen. This is the last bridge to be built as part of the rail bypass.
