Our organisation Getting a head start Infrabel is a healthy company, part of the SNCB group, with a stable financial basis. A success we primarily owe to our employees. Headed by Infrabel’s CEO, Luc Lallemand, they work in three directorates, six general departments and an internal audit department. Three directorates Six general departments - The Department of Strategy, International Affairs and Information Technology maintains the contractual relations with the State. It represents us abroad, and implements the information and communication technology within our company;
- The Department of Finance, Administration and Legal Affairs manages the budgets and offers legal assistance to the Directorates. It follows up on European dossiers, draws up contracts and checks the specifications for public contracts;
- The Human Resources Department is in charge of the personnel policy: selection, evaluation, training, etc. It participates to the elaboration of the strategic objectives of the BRIO plan with adapted projects and methods;
- The Department of Communication and Public Affairs develops communication and information strategies for target groups within and outside the company: media, local residents, etc. It maintains relations with the federal parliament and the three regions;
- Since 2006, the BRIO division has been in charge of developing the 2008-2010 strategic plan: the BRIO II plan. It makes sure that the 22 priorities of the plan are implemented;
- The Purchasing Department purchases products: spare parts for the infrastructure, consumables and capital goods, electricity, and much more.
Internal Audit Department The Audit Department checks tenders and contracts and performs audits. It reports directly to the Audit Committee.
