Suppliers
The quality of the railway network is one of Infrabel’s top priorities. It is precisely for this reason that Infrabel only ever works with the very best materials and the most interesting suppliers.
The objectives of the Procurement department
The Procurement department follows these issues closely and focuses on the following objectives:
- Organize procurement markets in an open competition with a non-discriminatory behaviour of the suppliers
- Optimising links between the internal customer (the final user) and the external supplier
- Achieving competitive prices
- Improving the quality of services
- Attracting new suppliers
- Selecting socially responsible companies (see also: Code of Conduct)
- Attracting innovative companies
As a public company, Infrabel must adhere to important legal agreements. The Procurement department ensures that these agreements are followed carefully. Infrabel's market is open to all and the company takes pride in its non-discriminatory policy that is open to all competitors.
